This is a band full of individuals that I hold in the highest regard. This was the band that helped me endure and survive teenage adolescence and come out a better individual. After parting ways with Lucid we had played with a jolly fellow named Matt Jones in his band. We liked one another’s style, and with Matt, his brother Kevin, and the bass player from Lucid, Kevin Tomanka, we joined forces to make pdex. I played solid with these guys for 3 years until I left the band in 2002.
During this time we had a chance to do a couple of west coast tours and record a full length album with the producer Thom Wilson, the same guy who produced the Offspring, The Dead Kennedys, and even the Aquabats. Here I learned not only to become a solid performing artist, but a mildly acceptable recording artist. I probably grew the most as a drummer with this band more than any other band and I made some fantastic lifelong friendships.

The following recording was done in Castroville California and was produced by Thom Wilson. So far this is the most prized recording that I have ever been a part of.
Life Volume 1
This next recording was a live session mixed with some other demos. The live session was where I got my first taste of Allegra Drums and I never turned back. These songs were our earlier punky pop stuff that was mostly Matt being fed up with crazy girlfriends and taking it out on them through furious power chords and tongue whipping lyrics. This also includes our version of “Take On Me” by Aha.
